Serenade Columbus' founder Elina Charfas offers private Cello lessons and tutoring to students in the greater Columbus, Ohio area. Lessons are available for all levels of expertise ranging from novice to expert. Lessons are available in both hour long and half hour formats to suit your needs. One hour-long lesson per week is the usual, but accommodations can be made for more or less intensive commitments and availability.
Elina has played the Cello for the majority of her life, dating back to when she was a young Ukrainian girl first beginning to experiment with music. She studied at Ohio State University and in 2007 she graduated with a Bachelor degree in Music Performance. Elina has been playing in wedding ensembles and corporate events since 2004 and teaching others to play the Cello since 2008.
Students interested in Cello tutoring should be able to provide their own instruments and be able to travel to the Ohio State University grounds for private one-on-one classes. Tutoring fees are $30.00 per hour.
